Since there are numerous definitions of dose rate (https://aapm.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/mp.16607) and no true consensus on what the correct definition in the context of FLASH irradiation is, we have decided to report the two definitions that have appeared most frequently: the average dose rate (delivered dose divided by irradiation time), the average dose rate (https://aapm.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/mp.14456) and the dose average dose rate (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/31241377/).
To calculate them, the following parameters had to be extracted: the beam size and weight of the single spots; the number of spots and the distance between them; the beam on and the spot changing time and, if used, also the number of repainting or fields.
